Who sends them. JobRail LLC sends appointment text messages about bookings made with businesses that use JobRail. Each message starts with “JobRail:” and names the business you booked with.
How you sign up. By entering your phone number on a business's JobRail booking page, or by giving it to the business when you book with them directly, you agree to receive these texts about that booking. Giving a phone number is optional. You can book without one and receive no texts.
What you'll receive. Three kinds of message only: a reminder the day before your appointment, a message when the crew is on the way, and a link to pay once the work is done (or an invoice to view and pay). These are about your booking only. We never send marketing messages.
How often. Up to three messages per appointment.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. You'll get one message confirming you've been unsubscribed, and nothing after that. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
Delivery. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your privacy. Your phone number and your consent to receive texts are never shared with third parties or used for marketing. See our privacy policy.
When you book through a business's JobRail page, your agreement for the work itself — what's done, what it costs, and what happens if something goes wrong — is with that business, not with JobRail. JobRail provides the software they use to take your booking and get paid.
Payment is taken once the work is done, by card through Stripe or however the business agrees with you directly.
Businesses are set up on JobRail by arrangement with us, on the terms and pricing agreed when they sign up. Each business is responsible for the accuracy of its own services, prices and availability, for the work it performs, and for having the right to contact the customers it books.
Card payments settle directly into the business's own Stripe account. JobRail does not hold customer payments and does not take a percentage of them.
Please don't misuse JobRail: no false bookings, no attempts to access another business's information, and no interfering with the service. We may remove access for anyone who does.
JobRail is provided as is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted, and to the extent the law allows, JobRail LLC is not liable for losses arising from its use.
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.
